The online fashion store MUSINSA selected NewJeans, a rookie K-Pop girl group, as its ambassador in Korea and abroad.
NewJeans is a new girl group that has become a sensation since its debut last August and that is much loved not only in Korea but also on the global stage with their hit songs “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” “Cookie.” The group has been drawing particular attention by wearing a wide range of fashion styles, such as high-end, sporty, and girlish styles, with a focus on retro streetwear.
MUSINSA expects that NewJeans, whose unique styles are leading the fashion culture, will create a new wave of K-fashion. Plans are for the group to take the lead in promoting Korean fashion brands by participating in various global advertising campaigns that MUSINSA will be conducting for customers overseas.
