Musinsa Standard, unveiling the national team's opening and closing ceremony uniforms for the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris ‍

Musinsa Standard, a modern basic casual wear brand developed by MUSINSA, has unveiled the opening and closing ceremony uniforms of the Korean National Team ahead of the 33rd SummerOlympics in Paris on June 26th.

The uniform of the Korean National Team is a "belted suit setup" in a blue color. The color blue traditionally symbolizes the east and represents youthful vigor and an enterprising spirit. Among these blues, sky blue was chosen for its calmness.The color is meant to represent the hope that the Korean national team will shine brightly amongst the various national teams.

Considering the hot weather in Paris, France, the blazer and slacks setup is made from summer-ready wool for comfort and ease of wear. The lining is lined with a traditional Korean blue and white porcelain patterns , bringing out the traditional beauty of Korea. In addition, a belt that reinterprets the official's belt (gakdae) worn around the waist in traditional official robes was made separately, adding style to the relaxed suit fit.

In addition to the set-up, the uniform includes a T-shirt made of cool, sweat-absorbing and quick-drying functional material and white sneakers in the shape of running shoes. In addition, players will be provided with a silver pendant necklace with a Taegeuk pattern as an accessory. Musinsa Standard imprinted the 'TeamKorea' logo on the inside of the blazer collar, T-shirt, slacks, and sneaker in soles to express the identity and sense of challenge as the uniform of the Korean national team.

In an official partnership with the Korean Olympic Committee, Musinsa Standard will also release uniform photos of five athletes from the national team competing in the Paris Olympics: Kim Seon-woo(modern pentathlon), Kim Han-sol (artistic gymnastics), Do Kyeong-dong(fencing), Park Tae-joon (taekwondo), and Yoon Ji-soo (fencing).

The athletes participating in the Paris Olympics will wear their official uniforms and pledge their commitment at a ceremony hosted by the Korean Olympic Committee at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park this afternoon.

"We are pleased to be able to present the national team’s opening and closing ceremony uniforms at the the2024 Olympic Games in Paris following the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games through collaboration between the Korea Sports Council," said Lee Geon-o, General Manager of Musinsa Standard. The opening and closing ceremony uniforms and pictorials of the national team participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics,designed by Musinsa Standard, will be released through the Musinsa showcase starting at 11 a.m. on this day.
