MUSINSA STANDARD, a private label of MUSINSA, achieved over USD 7.3 Million in monthly offline sales for the first time last month. Its strong lineup of well-crafted basics, with refined details and fit, effectively appealed to customer preferences.
According to MUSINSA STANDARD, offline store sales for the month of October(1st–31st) reached approximately USD 8.7 million. This figure represents the total sales generated across all 16 stores nationwide, including locations in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan, and Daegu.
Since opening its first offline store, MUSINSA STANDARD Hongdae, in May 2021, this is the first time the brand has surpassed USD 7.3 Million in monthly offline sales. In October, the number of visitors to offline stores reached 1.41 million — the highest monthly figure on record.
Approximately 315,000 items were sold at offline stores last month. In terms of sales volume, transitional outerwear well-suited for the fall season — including △Minimal Crew Neck Knit △Minimal Cardigan △Relaxed Minimal Jacket △Relaxed Basic Blazer △Heavyweight CP Work Jacket — proved especially popular.
MUSINSA STANDARD more than tripled its offline store count — from 5 at the end of 2023 to 16 by October, including its latest opening at Yeongdeungpo Times Square. From January to October 2024, cumulative offline store sales increased more than 3.5 times(250%) compared to the same period last year. On the 1st of this month, MUSINSA STANDARD opened a new 660㎡ store on the 4th floor of Hyundai Department Store U-PLEX in Sinchon, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
A MUSINSA STANDARD official stated, “Our differentiated offline strategy—opening stores in key Seoul districts like Hongdae, Seongsu, and Hannam, as well as in large shopping malls frequented by young families—is proving effective.” They added, “We plan to continue expanding our offline presence next year to strengthen customer engagement.”
