MUSINSA Launches ‘Shox Core’ Campaign with Global Brand Nike — Reveals Collaborative Editorial with Korean Fashion Brands

February 5, 2025

MUSINSA brings renewed attention to the iconic Nike Shox. Alongside this, MUSINSA introduces ‘Shox Core’—a modern reinterpretation of the Nike Shox—through a collaborative styling editorial with Korean designer brands.

Originally launched in 2000, the Nike Shox is a running shoe distinguished by its futuristic design and exceptional cushioning, featuring four shock-absorbing columns in the heel known as “Shox pillars.”

With its bold and iconic design, the Nike Shox has also gained recognition as a staple in street fashion, remaining a global favorite for over two decades.

To reintroduce the Nike Shox in a fresh, distinctive style, MUSINSA is launching the campaign “IT’S SHOX CORE: Style on Your Own Terms”(Shox Core) starting June 5. The campaign showcases styling content featuring two signature models—the Shox R4 and Shox TL.

In particular, MUSINSA is exclusively unveiling a Nike Shox showcase editorial featuring collaborations with Korean designer brands Andersson Bell and MSCHF. Through the editorial, the campaign presents a new interpretation of Shox Core styling using the 2025 SS collections from two globally acclaimed brands known for their distinctive and original designs.

Andersson Bell presents a fashion editorial that pairs its 2025 SS collection—featuring a fusion of Western influences and modern design elements—with Nike Shox in the Shox Core campaign. Also making its debut to MUSINSA customers through this campaign, MSCHF will showcase the synergy between its vintage-washed, street-inspired collection and the Nike Shox.

A MUSINSA official said, “By redefining the forward-thinking design of the Nike Shox into the 'Shox Core' style, we aim to reintroduce it as a standout item for the 2025 fashion scene.” They added, “We will continue to launch campaigns that present new styles and fashion trends to our customers, driven by the synergy between domestic designer labels and global brands.”
