MUSINSA Opens Martin Kim’s First Store in Japan — “Establishes Presence in the Heart of Fashion and Trends, Shibuya, Tokyo”

MUSINSA will open the first official offline store in Japan later this month for Matin Kim, a brand operated by HAGOHAUS and officially distributed by MUSINSA in the Japanese market.

Matin Kim’s first store in Japan is set to open on June 24 in Shibuya, one of Tokyo’s busiest and most iconic districts. The store will occupy approximately 125㎡on the second floor of MIYASHITA PARK, a landmark cultural complex in Shibuya with an average daily foot traffic of 3 million. MIYASHITA PARK is a popular shopping destination that houses a wide range of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands, including global luxury labels.

MUSINSA and Matin Kim entered into an exclusive distribution partnership in November 2023, marking the brand’s official entry into the Japanese market. In particular, MUSINSA is actively supporting the expansion of Matin Kim’s offline retail network by leveraging its established local network and infrastructure in Japan. The Matin Kim Shibuya store marks the first overseas retail location opened through MUSINSA as the official global distribution partner of a Korean fashion brand.

At the Matin Kim Shibuya store, customers will find a selection of the brand’s best-selling items—well-received by local shoppers through the MUSINSA Global Store and the previous Osaka pop-up—as well as new releases from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection. The store will also feature a Shibuya-exclusive version of the brand’s signature cropped logo T-shirt, along with items from KIMMATIN, Matin Kim’s high-end line.

MUSINSA is presenting an art collaboration at the Matin Kim Shibuya store to offer visitors a unique and immersive brand experience. The store will feature an installation by textile studio FIVECOMMA, known for creating forest-inspired artworks using layered textures and fabrics.
