MUSINSA TRADING opens the first global standalone store for French designer brand 'Marine Serre' in Hannam, Seoul

October 23, 2025

MUSINSA TRADING, the MUSINSA subsidiary specializing in brand business and distribution, will open the first global standalone store for French fashion label Marine Serre in Seoul’s Hannam neighborhood. MUSINSA TRADING is the official distributor of Marine Serre in Korea.

Marine Serre will open ‘Marine Serre Hannam House’ on the 23rd. Spanning two floors and approximately 193㎡, Marine Serre Hannam House is the brand’s first dedicated standalone store outside of Paris, where the brand was originally founded.

The new space was created in collaboration with London-based architecture studio Sybarite, translating Marine Serre’s distinctive creative universe into a highly immersive retail environment. Inspired by lunar phases and anchored by the brand’s iconic crescent moon motif, the store delivers a bold yet enigmatic atmosphere.

Marine Serre is a global fashion brand founded in Paris in 2017 by designer Marine Serre. Known for its fusion of refined French couture tailoring, the functionality of sportswear, and innovative upcycled materials, the brand has quickly become one of the most closely watched next-generation designer labels worldwide.

MUSINSA TRADING entered into an official partnership with Marine Serre in 2024 and oversees the brand’s online and offline distribution in Korea. The company opened the first Marine Serre store in October 2024 at Shinsegae Department Store Centum City, and continues to expand customer touchpoints through multiple channels including the brand’s official online store, MUSINSA EMPTY, and MUSINSA STORE.

A MUSINSA TRADING offocial said, “Marine Serre’s decision to choose Korea as its first global offline entry point reflects the rise of the Korean fashion market as a strategic hub for international brands. Hannam, in particular, is a key fashion district where global luxury houses and designer labels coexist, and we expect strong interest not only from local customers but from international visitors as well.”
