MUSINSA Beauty Launches New Makeup Brand ‘WHIZZY’ Targeting Gen Z and Young Millennials

MUSINSA is set to launch its new makeup brand ‘WHIZZY’ on the 28th. WHIZZY is a young beauty brand designed for the 17–21 generation who seek freedom and novelty.

The name WHIZZY is inspired by the words whizzer, meaning “someone with outstanding charm,” and whizzy, which conveys a sense of smartness and innovation. Aimed at delivering easy and effortless beauty for the 17–21 generation, WHIZZY offers products designed to complement youthful, clear skin.

The debut collection features three makeup products: a lip tint, a lip-and-cheek tint, and an eyeliner. Each item is developed in fresh, vibrant shades like peach and ruby, with a smooth, buildable formula that blends seamlessly without clumping.

‘The Glow-Up Tint’ comes in six shades, offering a clear, glossy shine that builds with each layer. ‘The Sleek Move Lip&Cheek’ is characterized by its soft texture that adheres smoothly and thinly to both lips and cheeks without the need for any tools. ‘The Free & Easy Eyeliner’ features an ultra-slim 2mm pencil that can be used for precise lining, shading, and highlighting, enabling natural and delicate makeup looks. The entire collection includes 17 products, all offered at an affordable price point in the low 10,000 KRW range.

A MUSINSA Beauty official said, “WHIZZY offers high-quality beauty items at reasonable prices, enabling young beauty customers to easily achieve the makeup looks they desire.” They added, “We also plan to actively pursue expansion into the global market.”
