MUSINSA is set to open a new offline curated fashion store, MUSINSA STORE Gangnam, in Seoul’s Gangnam district next month.
The official opening is scheduled for August 1, with the store located on Gangnam-daero in Seocho-gu, just a two-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station. Spanning three floors—from the basement level to the second floor—the store covers a total area of 1,170m².
MUSINSA STORE Gangnam will be the MUSINSA’s fourth offline location and comes one year after the opening of MUSINSA STORE Seongsu@Daelim Warehouse in September 2023.
In the second half of 2023, MUSINSA expanded into the offline multi-brand retail market by launching MUSINSA STORE Daegu and MUSINSA STORE Hongdae, which showcased over 100 emerging Korean designer brands. In the first half of this year, the three stores attracted a combined total of 2 million visitors, solidifying MUSINSA STORE’s position as a leading fashion destination in each respective region.
MUSINSA chose Gangnam for its new offline store due to the area’s high foot traffic among people in their 20s and 30s, driven by a dense mix of offices and educational institutions. The district’s strong appeal to international tourists also made it a strategic retail location. Since opening the MUSINSA STANDARD Gangnam store near Gangnam-daero in 2022, the company has seen a sharp increase in new customers, confirming the area’s potential for brand growth and increased sales.
MUSINSA STORE Gangnam will feature over 130 popular fashion and lifestyle brands. Notable Korean designer brands include △Nice Ghost Club, △THE COLDEST MOMENT, △MAJONE, △MISEKI SEOUL, △AKAM, △aeae, △PISCES, and △HUG YOUR SKIN. The store will also present high-demand and limited-edition sneakers from global brands such as △ASICS, △PUMA, and △Crocs. Additionally, △NIKE and △adidas will be introduced as shop-in-shop brands, offering a wide selection of their most popular products.
