MUSINSA will host the “MUSINSA Tokyo Pop-Up Store 2025” in Shibuya, Tokyo this October, taking a significant step toward expanding the influence of K-fashion in the Japanese market.
This event marks MUSINSA’s largest pop-up in Japan since 2021, featuring over 80 brands ranging from trend-savvy designer brands to emerging names gaining attention through MUSINSA. The pop-up aims to offer Japanese consumers, especially younger audiences passionate about K-fashion, a rare opportunity to experience Korea’s most popular brands offline.
Running for 24 days from October 3(Fri) to October 26(Sun), 2025, the pop-up will take place at “Media Department Tokyo” in the heart of Shibuya. The venue spans three floors and covers approximately 1,150 square meters, providing an immersive space designed exclusively for this event.
Under the concept of “MUSINSA STYLE TERMINAL” the pop-up embodies MUSINSA’s identity as a platform bringing together diverse K-fashion brands. Like a central terminal where multiple lines intersect, the space offers visitors the chance to discover a wide variety of Korean fashion labels in one place.
The venue will feature three themed zones: “Inspiration of MUSINSA” “Choose Your Style” and “Escalate Your Style”. Visitors can explore MUSINSA’s journey from its beginnings as a sneaker community to its growth into Korea’s leading fashion platform and discover more than 50 popular brands from MUSINSA’s Korean and global stores. An interactive zone will also allow visitors to experience K-brands firsthand. By scanning QR codes at the venue, customers can instantly access the MUSINSA Global Store, enjoy exclusive discounts, and view real-time customer reviews.
Participating brands include popular K-fashion labels such as Matin Kim, Low Classic, RONRON, AAKAM, and Miseki Seoul, along with beauty brands including Oddtype, Pleuvoir, Parnell, and accessory brands such as STAND OIL, RAWROW, hieta.
MUSINSA has also collaborated with local Japanese creatives to offer exclusive experiences. Partnering with COMET, a Tokyo-based Gen Z creative collective, MUSINSA has produced a 140-page limited-edition “MUSINSA Magazine” featuring exclusive stories of MUSINSA and participating K-fashion brands. A total of 20,000 free copies will be distributed to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, MUSINSA will collaborate with “I’m donut?”, a popular Japanese donut brand, to open a themed café during the event.
“This pop-up is not only our largest event to date but also carries special meaning as 13 Korean designer brands make their first entry into the Japanese fashion market,” said a MUSINSA official. “By running an online campaign on MUSINSA Global Store alongside the offline pop-up, we aim to provide Japanese customers with an expanded shopping experience that seamlessly connects offline discovery with online purchasing.”
MUSINSA established MUSINSA Japan in 2021 to support the expansion of Korean brands into the Japanese market. In 2023, its Tokyo pop-up store attracted over 10,000 visitors within the first three days, generating widespread buzz. In November 2024, MUSINSA signed an exclusive distribution partnership with Matin Kim for the Japanese market and opened the brand’s first Tokyo flagship store in Shibuya in April 2025.
