MUSINSA has been officially recognized by the South Korean government for its capabilities and expertise in supporting the global expansion of small and medium-sized fashion brands.
On July 8, MUSINSA was designated as an Official Trade Company at the 2025 Trade Company Designation Ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), held at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. As a company with outstanding export capabilities, MUSINSA was selected to participate in this program for a three-year period, from July 2025 to June 2028.
Established under legislation in 2014, a Specialized Trading Company refers to a firm designated to support the export activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that lack export experience or global networks. Companies granted this designation are eligible for various government-run incentive programs and support schemes. As of this year, a total of 678 companies in South Korea have been designated as Specialized Trading Companies.
As South Korea’s leading fashion platform, MUSINSA is actively focused on supporting the global expansion of K-fashion brands that are gaining increasing attention in international markets. Since the launch of the MUSINSA Global Store in the second half of 2022—now available in 13 regions including Japan and Thailand—the platform has recorded an impressive average annual growth rate of 260% as of the end of last year.
In particular, MUSINSA plans to accelerate the global expansion of K-fashion in the second half of this year by simultaneously targeting both online and offline channels across key regions, including Japan, China, Thailand, and Southeast Asia.
To efficiently support the global growth of its partner brands, MUSINSA will introduce the following initiatives: △ launch of the MUSINSA Fulfillment Service (MFS) △ integration of domestic and global store listings △ unification of domestic and global mobile apps
