MUSINSA CEO Cho Man-ho added to ‘The BoF 500 Class of 2025’ for Leading the Global Expansion of K-Fashion

October 23, 2025

Manho Cho, CEO of MUSINSA, has been named to “The BoF 500 2025”, the annual list released by the UK-based fashion authority The Business of Fashion(BoF).

The BoF 500 is a prestigious index launched in 2013 that spotlights influential individuals shaping the global fashion industry across leadership, creativity, innovation, social impact, and performance. It is widely regarded as one of the key indicators of influence in the global fashion scene.

BoF described Manho Cho as “Innovative leader who is driving the global expansion of K-fashion by leveraging Korea’s cultural influence and establishing a new fashion business model that integrates technology and community.” Notably, apart from K-pop idols, MUSINSA’s CEO is the only fashion platform executive featured on this year’s list.

Founded in 2001 by Manho Cho as a sneaker community, MUSINSA has grown into Korea’s leading fashion platform through its close partnership with K-fashion brands. Since launching the MUSINSA Global Store in 2022, the company has introduced about 3,000 Korean designer brands across 13 regions worldwide, taking the lead in the globalization of K-fashion.

A MUSINSA official said, “This recognition in The BoF 500 is not only a milestone for MUSINSA but also a meaningful achievement that acknowledges K-fashion as a key pillar of K-culture with proven global competitiveness.” They added, “MUSINSA aims to establish a sustainable growth model for Korea’s fashion industry by building an integrated business system that seamlessly connects the discovery, growth, and global expansion of emerging K-fashion brands.”

Since its launch in 2013, The BoF 500 has annually added new members to its ranks, and today includes 1,613 individuals from 96 nationalities around the world.
